Kit pools

Call for your next pool project. You build, we build, we have you covered.

Buy the Barrier Reef shell together with the equipment, supply only, and install it with your own crew or licensed builder. Would rather someone else did the build? Our licensed installers will.

  • Shell and equipment packages across the full Barrier Reef range
  • Delivery to your crane available at extra charge, including tight-access sites
  • Backed by Barrier Reef Manufacturing's 5 Tick Assurance

Supply only: for kit pools, installation stays with you and your licensed pool builder. A licensed builder must install the shell to keep the manufacturer warranty valid.

Our pool range

The Barrier Reef Pools range.

Every shell we sell comes out of Barrier Reef Manufacturing: the full range, from plunge pools to 12m lap pools. Tap any pool for its sizes, depths and plan. Every pool is available as a kit, or fully installed by a licensed builder.

Backed by Barrier Reef Manufacturing's 5 Tick Assurance. An independently audited quality standard covering materials, in-production monitoring, environmental controls, post-production testing (wall thickness, surface hardness, weight) and full traceability on every shell. Warranty terms — coming soon.

Builders quote it. Builders build it.

You're talking to people who've actually built pools.

Most quotes in this industry come from a call centre reading off a script. Ours don't. Every site visit and every quote is done in person by a licensed pool builder who can answer the questions a salesperson can't — and it costs you nothing just to get them out to look.

Quoted by builders, not salespeopleThe person who visits your site and prices your job has actually built pools — ask them anything.
Free site visits, no depositWe never charge a deposit just to get a builder out to look at your site. The visit and the quote are free.
Licensed & insured, verified upfrontCredentials checked before an installer joins the network — not after a complaint.
Your contract, your installerQuote, contract and home warranty insurance sit with your installer — not with Sydney Pool Shells.
We stay out of the buildHappy to help you choose — once you're matched, the build itself is a direct deal between the two of you.

FAQ

Before you ask.

How much does a pool kit cost?

Kit prices are given over the phone rather than listed online. The price depends on the model and size, the equipment package and delivery to your site, so we'd rather give you one real number than a misleading one. Call us or leave your details in the kit price form and we'll call you back.

How do I get a price for a full install?

Call us or leave your details and we'll talk it through. Your matched installer, a licensed pool builder, prices the job properly after a free site visit, since ground conditions, access and crane hire all affect the number. We don't publish install prices because a number without seeing your site isn't worth much.

Who actually builds my pool, and who do I contract with?

One of our licensed, insured local installers — not Sydney Pool Shells. And it's the installer themselves, a licensed pool builder, who comes out to see your site and quotes the job — not a salesperson reading off a script. Your quote, contract and home warranty insurance are directly between you and them.

Do I have to pay a deposit to get someone out to look at my site?

No. Site visits are always free. You should never be asked for a deposit just to have a builder come out and look — if you are, that's not how we operate.

What's the difference between a full install and a kit pool?

Full install is the standard path — we match you with a licensed local installer who does the free site visit, quotes and builds the pool. A kit pool is supply only: you buy the fibreglass shell, with equipment if you want it, and you or your own builder installs it. Kit pricing is given over the phone. Either way, installation must be carried out by a licensed pool builder — that's a condition of the manufacturer's warranty, not just our preference.

Does Sydney Pool Shells manage the build?

No. Once you're introduced to an installer — or once you've bought a shell to install with your own builder — the build is entirely between you and them. We focus on helping buyers across our region find the right pool and the right licensed builder, not on running the job site.

What if my site has tricky access?

Tell us when we speak. Narrow side access or a crane placement is exactly the kind of detail your matched installer will confirm on the free site visit.

How fast can I get started?

Submit your details and you'll hear from a matched installer within one business day, ready to book in a free, no-deposit site visit. How soon the build itself starts depends on the season and installer calendars — spring and early summer book out first.

Can I pay it off over time?

Yes — we partner with Handypay, who offer approved applicants up to $100,000 with no early repayment or exit fees. See our Finance page for details; your actual rate is personalised through Handypay's own application, and Sydney Pool Shells isn't involved in the approval or administration of the loan.
